  While attempting to connect, I receive the following error message:
  Error 629: The port was disconnected by the remote machine

CAUSE

• 
  This error usually occurs because:
  
  1. Prodigy Internet cannot validate your User Name or Password
  2. Your modem and Prodigy's modem can't maintain a connection
