How to install Dial-Up Networking

Note: Before getting started, ensure the Windows95 or 98 software is avavilable in the event your are prompted to copy files from it.

Procedure


1. From your Desktop, double-click the [My Computer] icon
2. Double-click the [Control Panel] icon
3. Double-click the [Add/Remove Programs] icon
4. Select the [Windows Setup] tab
5. Double-click [Communications]
6. Select "Dial-Up-Networking"
7. Click [OK]
8. Click [OK] again
9. You may be prompted by, "You will need to restart your computer in order for the changes to take affect. Do you wish to restart your computer." If so, select [Yes]
