How to install TCP/IP for Dial-Up Adapter

1. From your Desktop, double-click the [My Computer] icon
2. Double-click the [Control Panel] icon
3. Double-click the [Network] icon
4. Select the [Configuration] tab
5. Click [Add]
6. Double-click the "Protocol" option.
7. On the left-hand side select "Microsoft"
8. On the right-hand side select "TCP/IP"
9. Click [OK]
10. Click [OK] again
11. You may be prompted to provide Computer and Workgroup names for the computer. If so, enter a name for your Computer Name and "Workgroup" for the Workgroup Name.

• Note: Do not use your Prodigy Internet User Name or Password in the Identification area.

12. You may be prompted by, "You will need to restart your computer in order for the changes to take affect. Do you wish to restart your computer." If so, select [Yes]

• Note: As the system reboots, you may be asked you to enter an Id and Password for Windows. Type your name in the ID field and leave the Password field blank then click [OK]. Windows will then ask to confirm the password. Leave both fields blank and click [OK]. You should not see these screens again.
